About us
Since 2006 Masjid Bilal began its work to serve the community. We believe that a mosque, the house of Allah, are houses of learning and worship for all.
The doors opened so that believers can come together to encourage one another to stay on the straight path and to vie with one another to do good deeds
Education is a legal obligation in the Muslim Society
The mission of education is regarded as sacred in Islam because it is the primary means of developing righteous people.
The Muslims were known as the best scholars in the fields of philosophy, chemistry, linguistics, history, astronomy, medicine, and physics.
We have not missed this point in our history and take it seriously. On Saturdays, 10AM to 4.30PM we offer classes in Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Writing, History, Public Speaking, and Philosophy. On Sundays 10AM to 2PM, our doors are open to classes of Arabic and Qur’an. Thursday evening halaqah helps young people learn to apply the teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah in their daily lives.
Our Problem
Our mosque is located in an area where gentrification is pushing at our doors. We have been forced out of our current location and had to seek another. Alhamdullilah, we found a place, a church, not too far away, but we need donations to secure this space. This space is larger and can accommodate our brothers that have been praying on the street, YOUR URGENT HELP IS NEEDED. We must leave by July 17. Please donate.
